Here are links to two short videos explaining Time Banking – a concept where individuals exchange ‘an hour of service’ for ‘an hour of service’. For example, someone might exchange an hour of tutoring for an hour of plumbing, or an hour of baby sitting for an hour of window washing.


January 24, 2014 – On NBC Nightly News, Brian Williams introduced his wife’s parents who live in New Canaan, Connecticut. They belong to a village there called ‘Staying Put’, made up mostly of volunteers who serve the ‘village’ allowing those in the community to ‘age in place’.
