You are all invited to attend a garden party to commemorate the life and memory of Karen Glazier.
The party will be held on Sunday, 23 September 2018, at “Karen’s Garden” at Good Living Assisted Living at 4017 Salines Drive, Charleston (Malden), West Virginia, between 1400 – 1600 (2:00 pm – 4:00 pm).

Faith in Action and KVVP will host a joint picnic on Sunday, September 30th, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Shelter 20, Coonskin Park. Faith in Action provides the burgers, hot dogs, fixings, ice, beverages, and cake. To join in you need to do two things:

- Bring a potluck dish.
We’d love to meet up with you there!
Join your fellow KVVPers at Fazio’s on Tuesday, October 2nd for the Dutch Treat Dinner. The gathering begins at 6:30 pm. If you’re new to Fazio’s, you can check their website at www.faziosrestaurante.com. The website has a posted menu as well as historical information. Let us know you’re coming with an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll save you a chair – or two.

Blood pressure screenings, Advance Medical Directives/Living Wills, information on CAMC programs, medication review with a pharmacist and much more.
6:30 to 8 p.m. – Program and Question & Answer
We all experience pain in our lives, but what are the safest and most effective options for getting relief? How do we reduce our risk for misuse of pain medication or addiction? Join us for an interactive session with our panel of experts to discuss various strategies, including over-the-counter medication, prescription drugs and non-pharmacological therapies. Mindfulness meditation for chronic pain will also be explored. A question and
answer session with the panel will follow.
