KVVP Event Calendar
In addition to events particular to KVVP, our calendar lists other activities in our area in which we thought you might be interested. Since they are activities beyond our reach, we pass them along to you without endorsement. The information here is correct to the best of our knowledge, but be sure and call first to confirm the time and date of any listed activity.

This is the opportunity for KVVP members to have input into the candidate forum planned for September 16th. There will be representatives of other organizations with an interest in senior issues present to help broaden the issues we may want to place in front of this year’s candidates for office. Come make your voice heard at Edgewood Country club, 11:30 on Wednesday, April 1st.
Faith in Action of the Greater Kanawha Valley recently made a pretty big move into our very first *real* office. After 5 1/2 years working out of our Executive Diretor’s home, the organization had finally reached a point of growth where the move was no longer just a wish, but a necessity.
The move readies us for additional capacity building, more service opportunities, greater efficiencies, and deeper productivity. We are positioned for long term sustainability, and we couldn’t be more excited.
To celebrate this milestone, we are hosting an Open House and extending this invitation to you – as supporters, encouragers, participants, and friends – to join us for the occasion.
Our new physical address is 1710 Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston. (Our mailing address hasn’t changed.) We hope you can find a few minutes Thursday evening, February 13th, between 4-7 pm to stop in, say hello, and check out our brand new work space. We look forward to welcoming you!
Join in for the KVVP Annual Meeting set for Sunday, May 3rd, 1:30 pm at the African Zion Baptist Church in Malden. This is your chance to hear a rundown of the past year’s events, help plan for the coming year and elect new Board members. Light refreshments will be served.
Break out your spring finery for the KVVP Dinner on Wednesday, May 6th, 6 pm, at Berry Hills Country Club. There will be entertainment, good food and good friends to visit with. Start planning for it now!
With the election almost upon us it’s time to get your ducks in a row regarding state and local candidates running for office and how they feel – and would act on – senior issues. Join us on Wednesday, September 16th, 5:30 pm, at the Women’s Club of Charleston. We promise an interesting evening and light refreshments.
